When individuals are in desperate situations, they may find themselves
doing things they would not normally do. Sometimes this manifests as self-
meets people where they are and strives to present alternatives to
IBH, doing business as S.H.A.R.P. Services is currently working on a
project in Midland, Texas to provide transitional housing for
individuals who have mental illness, particularly those experiencing
homelessness. Many of these individuals relapse due to noncompliance
with medication. It is a struggle to get prescriptions filled without
the stability of a home and no transportation. S.H.A.R.P. Services
desires to provide the foundation, a proper shelter, life skills
training, and access to transportation so individuals can maintain a the
best chance at recovery. The vision of S.H.A.R.P. Services is to
"Connect People to Community." In this we believe they will be able to
find security and purpose.
A child must have their basic needs met if they are going to develop
properly. Food, clothing, and shelter are necessities. Above and beyond this, children must have an education to better themselves. IBH is focused on helping those youth who have a strong desire to move past their circumstances through hard work and learning.
